HERITAGE ASSEMBLY OF LA FAGE
Civil buildings
Mont Lozere
"The tormenting steeples are built in the region of Mont Lozère, in hamlets lacking churches.Their functions were formerly diversified (angelus, glas, call for the communal school, prevention against hailstorms, signal sound for people lost in the fog.) They are similar to the type of single-arch arched steeple-wall steeple and are erected on a rectangular base, thinned towards the top, all of which are laden with an iron cross In addition to its bell tower, the hamlet of Fage presents a heritage complex related to social and economic life: bread oven, cross with stoup, work to shoe oxen, fountain-watering.
